Terms of Use
These terms cover use of Digital Detective Kit (the “Service”). We want free short mysteries to be easy to play—and stream.
Last updated: 2026-08-05
1. About the content
Cases, characters, organizations, and place names are fiction. They are not related to real incidents, people, or organizations. Do not imply otherwise in streams or descriptions.
2. Streaming & let’s plays (welcome)
For free cases, we welcome the following. No prior notice or permission is required.
- Live streams and recorded uploads (YouTube, Twitch, NicoNico, TikTok, etc.)
- Audience participation via screen share (votes, chat solving together)
- Monetized streams (ads, Super Chat, etc.)
- Clips and highlights (please mind spoilers)
- Public or unlisted archives
If you can, please mention “Digital Detective Kit” and a play URL (site home or the case) in the description. It is not required.
Viewers may use the same URL in their own browsers.
3. Spoiler courtesy (request)
To keep the mystery fun, please:
- Avoid spoiling the culprit or ending in titles and thumbnails
- Note spoilers in the description
- Ask chat not to spam answers
These are courtesy requests, not a penalty system.
4. Please don’t
- Mirror, redistribute, or sell the site or file package without permission
- Imply official endorsement or partnership
- Share unlock methods for paid content (passcodes, purchase links) with third parties, if paid content is offered
- Use the Service in ways that break the law or public order
5. Paid content
We do not sell paid packs at this time. If we do later, we expect purchasers to stream them, and we will update these terms or related notices then.
6. Disclaimer
The Service is provided as-is. We are not responsible for display differences across devices/browsers, or for platform account actions. We will try to address bugs when we can.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on the site.
